What is the relaxation time?

I am new with this software and I wanted to know what is the relaxation time, because I was not able to find a clear definition about it.

Hi Victor,

it is a long story. But long story short: 1. from the kinetic point of view, it is the the parameter that tells you how fast the probability distribution function of particles velocity tend toward the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution, 2. from the fluid dynamic point of view, it is related (also but not only) to the viscosity of the fluid.
