Has anyone implemented a subgrid turbulence model within OpenLB such as the Smagorinsky model to enable high Re number simulations?

for the moment there is no such thing.
Is anyone working on this? I have seen a very nice LBM example code from Nils Thuerey which incorporates a Smagorinsky-type subgrid model for a simple 3d lid-driven cavity problem (http://www.matthiasmueller.info/realtimephysics/lbm_example.tar.gz). Perhaps this would provide a useful starting point…
