I’m trying to use the Shan Chen Model to simulate a liquid interacting with a gas (code in Matlab). My question is, how do I specify it’s a liquid? The density keeps on varying inside the component mass.
I tried doing a static drop test consisting of two immiscible fluids. The drop stabilizes very quickly in shape (4000 time steps), but the density within the drop is higher than what I initialized the problem with, which isn’t right for a liquid (density should be constant).
Is there something wrong with the Greens function value I’ve selected to get surface tension?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
