I am new in this field and having some problems in understanding the basic terminologies i need is some support if you have the idea of the questions bellow

  1. what is ‘‘Lattice’’ ? Is it associated with the grids in discretization in numerical.
  2. Node ?? cell?? and
  3. how the process of collision take place in lattice through nodes containing cells,?

Hi everybody
I am new in this field. I don’t understand what difference is between lattice velocity (lattice viscosity, … ) and common velocity (viscosity). Please help me. Is there any paper or book about this matter?
