Discrepancy between OpenLB and Palabos results

Hi,

I used the OpenLB and Palabos for poiseuille flow in a 3D pipe and my results using body force (openLB) cmpares with result using Palabos (Naive force) which were very close to the theoretical result. However, I get simimar results for pressure gradient (palabos) and Zou and He (Palabos) and Gou(Palabos) body forces implementations respectively, which are less than the theoretical (and Naive (Palabos)) by a factor of Iess than 2.

Which body force implementation is done in OpenLB

The body force implementation in OpenLB is the one we call the “naive” implementation in Palabos, which adds a term proportional to ci*F to the f_i after collision.
