Palabos validation run: cement injection into porous bone

As you certainly have noticed by now, one of the big strengths of the Palabos CFD solver is that it is meshfree and handles the most complex geometries without problem.

I’d like to show you one of our most recent validation runs.

It shows a computer simulation of cement injection into a bone with such a complex porous structure that mesh gemeration for classical CFD is definitely out of reach. Our simulation results are carefully validated against experimental data.

Let me also point out that we still have a few places available in the September 2013 Palabos training session. Multi-phase flow is one of the most important topics covered in the training, and we will teach you how to master the tools offered in Palabos.

I am looking forward to seeing you at the training or elsewhere!

All the best,
Jonas
