Oxford LB workshop

Dear Colleagues,

I’m pleased to announce that there will be a lattice Boltzmann workshop in Wadham College, Oxford University, between 1st-2nd September 2011. Further details, including registration, can be found here (please note that this page will be updated at regular intervals):

https://www.maths.ox.ac.uk/groups/occam/forthcoming-events/lattice-boltzmann-workshop

The event will begin with a tutorial session given by Dr. Paul Dellar and will continue with a series of lectures by recognised members of the LB community. We very much hope that the workshop will provided both an opportunity to learn and a catalyst for new and exciting research!!

If you have any further questions then please just ask (reis@maths.ox.ac.uk). Please also note that we have a limited amount of student support available, and some time reserved for additional talks. If you’d like to apply for support or present some material then, again, please just drop me an email.

I look forward to welcoming you to Oxford,
Best wishes,
Tim

ps

I forgot to mention this in my previous email:

Should you require accommodation for more than just the night of
Thursday 1st September then we can arrange for you to stay in Wadham
College for the additional nights (subject to availability, of course - when it comes to extra beds
the college will operate on a first-come-first-served basis). Please get
in touch with me if this is of interest to you.

Best wishes,
Tim

Dear All,

Please note that registration for this event will close on 8th August.

I hope to welcome you all to Oxford soon!
Best wishes,
Tim
