Hi friends

I want to simulate porous media but i had a problem with relaxation time so i coded MRT 2DQ9 SC. Can anyone help me to choose the best set of parameters of relaxation time matrix?

One more question i checked my code by setting all relaxtion parameters equal to s=1/tau then it reduces to BGK and works correctly but i can’t set s3=0.0 while i think s0=s3=s5=0 enforces mass and momentum conservation before and after collision, except s3 i can set s0=s5=0 and change other parameters and this is ok. where is my mistake? please help me.

Dear Amir,

You probably use the forcing, then for momentum relaxation parameters can not be taken as 0.
