has anybody managed to model particle transport using LBM + Discrete Element Modeling as proposed by Ladd, Han and Owen in the paper “Coupled lattice Boltzmann method and discrete element modelling of particle transport in turbulent fluid flows: Computational issues “, 2007 available here:Feng2007 ?
