Dear all,
I am a PhD candidate in mechanical engineering, working on a sedimentation particles in a viscous fluid. I used SPM (Smoothed Profile Method) and MEM (Momentum Exchange Method) for this problem; But I couldn’t verify my results with previous works.
Now I want to use IBM (Immersed Boundary Method); But I can’t understand this method combined with LBM. What is desired velocity in direct-forcing method? Can anybody describe flowchart of this method?
