I was desperate with my LBM-DEM coupling topic and I found this forum, hopefully someone can help me out. I am trying to model the flui flow in z direction, from the bottom to the top. I followed the example in permeability code, applied density as 1 for the inlet and 0.99 for the outlet. But the fluid does not flow upward, instead it was in random direction. I applied the periodic condition in the z direction but it does not help. Could anyone help me figure out this problem ? Thank you for your time.

Did you try to check the *.xml file?
